Katherine D. McDowell is a versatile visual artist currently focusing on monotype printmaking – handmade, one-of-a-kind prints made by applying ink to a plate and running it through a hand-cranked press with high-quality printmaking paper. Her current series of over 400 prints, “Lake Monotypes” has been widely shown and purchased since its inception in 2008.
Prints from the "Lake Monotype" series have been selected for 6 solo exhibitions in Oregon and accepted into 21 national juried group exhibitions.
